of our rooms, whether in the house or our cottage, enjoy a quiet, peaceful setting. Only the sound of the birds as the sun sets . . . or perhaps the sound of our pets as they munch in the paddock . . .
A morepork will start to hoot once the sun has set, this is the sound of summer.

Whether you are in our Matakitaki room or
our Rawhiti room, you'll find both are peaceful.
In fact, each of our rooms has its very own peaceful terrace where you can sit and listen to the sounds of the night and gaze at the wondrous sky full of stars.
Secluded beaches
The Coromandel
has some of the world's most pristine and secluded beaches.

How far to the nearest shop from here?
There is a small shop in the camping ground just below us. The Kuaotunu Store is just below the Black Jack Hill, about 2 kms.
