Guest Questions

Are there any tour guides in the area?

Recently a chap here in Kuaotunu has started taking people on guided walks into the bush to watch his dog working. It is apart of the Kiwi Sanctuary and his dog is specially trained to find the various predators of the kiwi. If you are interested we can book your tour for you.

Is there a ferry from Auckland?

Yes. At present a service does run from Auckland City to Coromandel Town. Go to www.kawaukat.co.nz for more information.
