Kuaotunu is a quaint little village between Whitianga and Coromandel. It was famous for being a thriving goldmine town. Now there are old goldmines to explore. Its tranquillity and silent nights make it special.

Our dear friends in Rotorua suggested we go via Coromandel to Northland, we are so pleased they did as along the way we found Kaeppeli's BnB. From here we were able to experience so many wonderful things on the Coromandel.
