Kuaotunu
is a beautiful little village on the east coast of the Coromandel Peninsula. Once a thriving gold-mining town, it now has a very peaceful, serene
beauty about it. That may be the reason our BnB has a white heron come to visit every year. See more under birdwatching.
You can
find us off the main road,
in an especially private setting. We have the sea below us, the bush behind us, and rolling green pastures to the east.

You can go down to Black Jack Art, right here in Kuaotunu. They have some great arts and crafts. Or for something really special a hand forged knife - the knife maker is well worth a visit.
