Matarangi Golf Club
For golfers, the Coromandel is a real paradise.
The first nine holes of Matarangi's golf course were designed by Bob Charles himself. This course is set in glorious surroundings with sea and harbour views from most holes. The Coromandel ranges, including Castle Rock form a spectacular backdrop. Now named The Dunes Golf Resort,world-class championship course is now 18 holes. . . definitely not to be missed. There is also a licensed restaurant on the course for those well-earned refreshments.
Matarangi's world-class championship course, is a four-minute drive from Kaeppeli's B&B.
Lessons can also be arranged if you wish to brush up on your skills whilst on holiday. Lessons by a German-speaking instructor are also available.
