Around the Coromandel there are various day-trips you can make. The 309 Road is an alternative route from east to west on the Peninsula. With a variety of stops along the way, it makes for an interesting day's journey.

to take a boat.
Off to Hot Water Beach? Don't forget to take the bucket and spade we have left by your car. The bucketis for getting cold water. And we advise you not to swim there — it's much safer at Cathedral Cove or here at Kuaotunu.
