The cottage can comfortably accommodate two to six persons and is ideal for two couples — or for a family. It has a lounge/ dining room (between the two en suite bedrooms) that is equipped with fridge and facilities for tea- and coffee-making.

The cottage is a
separate building. Set in the garden, it is about 50 metres from the house.
You'll find the price for the cottage — one dining room, two bathrooms and two bedrooms — under rates / cottage.
For long-term rates or seasonal rates look under special rates.
The cottage is ideal for families or groups of 4-6 persons.
Dining Room
I
am sure you will enjoy this dining room with its view over the bay. Here we have tea/coffee making facilities, fridge,
and mini bar.

Bedrooms
This
bedroom we have named our Rawhiti room, it means in Maori «the place of the sunrise». Yes, that's right, you have the first
morning sun shining in your window as it comes up from behind Black Jack hill. For more information see Rawhiti

This is the Matakitaki room. In Maori, this means «to watch or view» — and that is exactly what most folks do when they come to this room — just sit and ponder and enjoy the view. Also take a look under Matakitaki room

That was once a gold miners cottage here in Kuaotunu. We moved it onto our land a few years ago. A little bit of Kuaotunu history, which we are taking good care of.
